Yes, I Did

I didn't have time to post yesterday, but yes, I did go to the gym, managed to log in over 6 miles of cardio, and got a decent whole-body workout.

When I get to the gym, it's fairly empty until 9:25 when people rush in for the 9:30 Body Pump class. I try to stay out of the locker room at that point. I hate people who use more than one piece of equipment simultaneously. It's not their private gym. It's mine! Yesterday I see a well-built middle-aged dude on the mat. He's stretching. I step around him onto the smaller mat near the storage room. There's a fitness ball there which I start to roll out of the way.

He looks up and says, "I'm using that," with a smile. I guess he meant to be charming. And although he was pretty decent looking for a bald black man (think Morris Chestnut) I'm blunt with my needs because I'm so focused on my workout. So I say, "I want the mat." "Oh, just roll the ball over to me." So, I do. And then I proceed with my workout. He moves from the mat to other equipment and back. But when he comes back, he's giving me a very serious look. Maybe it's because I knock out 50 push ups and then move on to planks, and then back to T-push ups. Whatever...
